Today, I am sharing the tabs I have open on my computer: testing bell schedule, sub plans, 3rd quarter grades reflection, field trip plans, open mic GIF. I feel like I do a great job compartmentalizing all these tabs and tasks while I am with students. During class time, I am there: mind and body. However, as soon as that bell rings, I am processing and incrementally chipping away at upcoming events and deadlines that need my attention. I used to just take all this home, but that impacted my home life, so now I work in the fringes of the day.

I love reading your slices. It really opens up your world to all of us. Thank you for doing this. I too have multiple tabs open at all times and try not to let school bleed into my home life. This is an ongoing battle for all of us.
